The dedicated individuals who offer their time as volunteers are the backbone of the fire department.  They serve the community through hard work and dedication, and spend much of their free time attending classes and training in order to improve their skills.  Many of our volunteers who started their fire and EMS training here have gone on to get permanent firefighter and paramedic jobs elsewhere in the county, while still volunteering in Keno.
